Draft updated Effective date to be set after counsel review
Draft. This notice has not been reviewed by counsel and is not final. It describes what this website collects today.
VerilianHealth Inc. (“we”, “us”) runs this website. This notice explains what we collect when you use it, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
- When you contact us: your name, work email, organization, and anything you choose to tell us about your role and situation.
- When you subscribe to The Signal: your email address, when you subscribed, the page and language you subscribed from, and which version of the signup wording you saw. We do not store your IP address.
- When you browse: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
Please do not send patient information or other protected health information through this website. The contact form is not designed to receive it.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a conversation.
- To send The Signal, if you subscribed. Every issue includes a way to unsubscribe.
- To keep the website secure and working.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that run this website and deliver our email, under agreements that limit their use of your information to providing that service to us. We will disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies
Public pages do not set tracking or advertising cookies. A single essential cookie is used when our own staff sign in to manage the site.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as we have a working relationship or a reasonable prospect of one, and deleted on request. Newsletter addresses are kept while you are subscribed. When you unsubscribe, we stop sending straight away and keep only your address and the date, so that we never email you by mistake. Ask us and we will delete it entirely.
Job applications
This section covers the information you send us when you apply for a role or send a general note from the careers page.
- What we collect: your name, email address and location, a LinkedIn or portfolio link if you add one, your note, the kind of role you are looking for if you send a general note, and your résumé (PDF), which is optional for a general note.
- Why: to assess your application and to contact you about it.
- Who can see it: only Verilian staff involved in hiring, through our internal admin.
- Where it is stored: in our database on our US hosting. Résumés are not public.
- How long we keep it: 12 months from the date you applied, then it is deleted. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we will.
- Your requests: to see, correct or delete your application, email careers@verilianhealth.com.
Please do not include health information about yourself or anyone else in your application.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@verilianhealth.com and we will respond within thirty days.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be noted in The Signal.
